With a will to withstand the odds, and a determination to outlast Mother Nature’s wrath, the shelter becomes that six-sided guardian for the precious souls of whom it will cater to. Built for hurricanes and like disasters common to the tropical region, the modular aluminum shell enforces a sense of security while its ability to connect to become cluster configurations promote a sense of community. The shelter’s 1) ease of assembly and transport, 2) space allocation for food and water, and 3) promotion of human interaction, together were deemed key essentials for 48 hours survival.
